PROTOCOL ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF LATVIA AND THE STATE OF KUWAIT
The Government of the Republic of Latvia and the Government of the State of Kuwait,
Desiring to develop the relationships and cooperation between the two countries,
Confirming the affinity to the aims and the principles of the Chartet of the United Nations,
Being guided by the wish to maintain peace and security over the world,
Have agreed to establish diplomatic and consular relations between their countries based on the principles of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect for sovereignty and non interference in the internai affairs of each other as well as on the principle of equality and mutual benefits and in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations signed on 18 April 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations signed on 24 April 19o3.
In Witness Whereof, the undersigned, being fully authorized by their respective governments, have signed this protocol.
Signed in Moscow on Friday, the l5th of July, 1994, corresponding to the 6th of Safar, 1415 H., in duplicate Latvian, Arabic and English languages, all texts are equally authentic.
